GOODLETTSVILLE, TN — The driver who crashed into a Long Hollow Pike market Tuesday morning told police that the accelerator of her minivan got stuck.
Around 5 a.m. Tuesday the driver, Kimberly Rigsby-Seat, hit a column outside of the Long Hollow Twice Daily, careened through the glass storefront and then put her minivan in reverse and driving away, according to police. The van was located nearby and Rigsby-Seat was found hiding out in a nearby hotel.
Rigsby-Seat will be charged with driving on a suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident.
Two store employees were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The store itself is closed due to severe damage, including a broken water pipe, but the gas pumps were still operational.
